If you are reading this, another year of us has passed, and I want you to know one thing before anything else: I would choose it all again, exactly the same.

I was looking at the photos from Cappadocia, the sunrise one with the balloons, the one where you are laughing in the hat and I did not even know they were taking the picture. There you were, laughing your heart out, and me thinking "I never want to come down from here." That is how I feel with you all the time, even with our feet on the ground.

What I love most are not the places. It is you turning to look at me when something amazes you, as if to say "are you seeing this?" Yes, my love. I am seeing it. And I still cannot believe my luck.

I saved this message for today because I wanted you to have proof that, no matter what happens this year, at this exact moment of my life I was completely happy, and it was because of you.

The best place I have ever arrived at in my life is you. Happy anniversary.
